Groundwater Conservation Sponsorship - FY2024
On August 18, 2023, the Board of Directors adopted the operating budget for fiscal year 2024 (October 1, 2023 - September 30, 2024) that included $43,000.00 for groundwater conservation purposes.
On April 21, 2023, the Board of Directors adopted a management plan for the district that includes a goal related to addressing conservation, recharge enhancement, rainwater harvesting, precipitation enhancement, or brush control with an objective to promote conservation, rainwater harvesting, or brush control within Victoria County.
Entities wishing to seek sponsorship from the district of a project intended to promote water conservation, especially through rainwater harvesting or brush control within Victoria County, should submit a application for sponsorship.
Application to Request Sponsorship
Administratively complete applications will be considered by the Board of Directors at public meetings. Awards of Sponsorships, if any, will be approved by the Board of Directors.
