Monitoring Network Assessment and Improvement
In September 2021, the Board of Directors of the District approved a motion to cooperate and share the costs with Calhoun County GCD, Refugio GCD, and Texana GCD, on a project to be completed by Intera Inc. to assist the district in improving and expanding the District's effort to monitor groundwater levels. Intera delivered the final report on the project on November 23, 2022.

The District is seeking assistance from well owner with monitoring groundwater conditions within the county by allowing the Victoria County Groundwater Conservation District to collect water level measurements and water quality measurements from water wells with certain areas. The areas were identified by Intera and can be reviewed in Section 6 of the associated report:
