Production Permit Renewals for CY2024

The Victoria County Groundwater Conservation District provides for the renewal of groundwater production permits under Rules 4.4, 4.41, and 4.4.2 of the rules of the district. The rules specify that the well owner, the authorized agent, or the authorized operator of a permit shall submit an application requesting the renewal of the permit at least ninety days (90 days) prior to the permit expiration date.

Application to renew a permit can be submitted by:

  1. completing an electronic application using the ELECTRONIC APPLICATION TO RENEW A PERMIT (recommended);
  2. completing an electronic report using the Permit Renewal Application Map;
  3. emailing a scanned hard-copy of the completed application to admin@vcgcd.org;
  4. mailing a hard-copy of the completed application to VCGCD, 2805 N. Navarro St., Ste 210, Victoria, Texas 77901, or
  5. delivering a hard-copy of the application to the District at 2805 N. Navarro St., Ste 210, Victoria, Texas 77901.

Alternatively, applicants to renew a permit may print and complete the following blankpaper-based form for this purpose:

Water well owners are encouraged to retain a copy of permitting applications submitted to the District for their own records.
