Per the website of the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts, Tax Code Section 26.04(e) requires local government taxing units to publish a Notice of Tax Rate and sets out the requirements for the format and content of the notice. This notice provides information about two tax rates used in adopting the current year’s tax rate.
